Where to Enjoy Craft Beer in Ashland
Posted by: Deana Politis
If you enjoy craft beer, you are in for a treat when you visit Ashland. Here are a few of our favorite local craft breweries:
In 2005, Caldera Brewing Company became the first craft brewery on the West Coast to brew and can its own beer. They currently offer 45 beers on tap along with a full menu of delicious food. The servers know their beer and will help you pair the perfect brew to go with your meal. Oregon's largest beer bottle and can collection is on display in the restaurant with over 4500 bottles and cans. Caldera is located just off exit 14 from the I-5. They offer indoor and outdoor seating with one of the best views in Ashland.
Standing Stone Brewing Company opened in 1997! It is a full service craft brew pub located in a historic building on Oak Street in downtown Ashland. Their ales and lagers are made on site using 85% organic and/or local ingredients. Standing Stone takes local ingredients seriously! Their restaurant menu features many ingredients from their One Mile Farm which they started in 2011. It is literally one mile from the restaurant. They offer indoor as well as outdoor seating on their spacious patio.
The Growler Guys is located on Lithia Way near the heart of downtown Ashland. The emphasis is beer on tap as they currently have 46 to choose from plus kombucha, cider and root beer. You can enjoy a pizza and beer will sitting around their outdoor firebowl. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite brew.
